Module 0 – Introduction

Prior to November 7th, 2022: Review Program Overview and Theory of Change background material

The Theory of Change course is designed to help attendees examine and answer important questions:

What impact are you having? How do you know? What difference is your ministry or program making? Learn what your mission is and understand the roles in achieving it.

We can have a greater impact if we think strategically about our desired impact while planning, implementing, and evaluating our programs.

Our Theory of Change workshop will help attendees break their program down into its component parts, differentiating between things like “what you do” and “what you achieve.” A Theory of Change will provide a roadmap that outlines the steps by which you plan to achieve your goal, it is the story of how you believe your program’s change will unfold. A Theory of Change can aid in aligning your stakeholders to your larger mission and help them understand their role in achieving it.

By the end of this program, you will determine the precise link between your programs’ activities and outcomes for the purpose of planning, participation, and evaluation.

The Theory of Change workshop includes asynchronous independent work and synchronous zoom sessions. Today’s session, the first session in Week One of the workshop, covers material from Module 0: Introduction. Please review the Program Overview and Theory of Change background material prior to this session.

Pre-registration is required. Click here to register. Price for program is $50.
