JD Lang fairground in Bracebridge

Muskoka is host to many different kinds of festivals, many of whichare for-profit events serving the interests and needs of a specific interest-basedcohort e.g. dog owners, vegans, beer lovers, practitioners of yoga etc.  None of these festivals is specificallyfocused on the environment, or specifically designed to bring a wide spectrumof people together who share a common ecological concern.   The Muskoka Earth Festival will be distinctivein its accessibility and inclusivity. Unlike other festivals which often presume a certain level of affluence, the Earth Festival will make provision for people of limited income: an “as youare able” admission fee; free bus shuttle from downtown Bracebridge to thefairgrounds; free children’s programming, music, and workshop opportunities.  As an inclusive event the festival willwelcome any organization, speaker, workshop leader, exhibitor or business thathas a demonstrated commitment to helping heal and restore the earth.
